ABOUT A.I.M.

Always In Mind, Inc. is a promotional products distributor, printer and program administrator that specializes in VPP and safety awareness. Not only are we a licensed VPP Supplier, but we are an OSHA approved VPP Star Site as well. Therefore, we know what it means to cultivate and maintain a safe work environment.

A.I.M. was founded in 1986 by the late William “Sully” Sullivan. In 2007, the VPPPA National Board of Directors established the VPPPA William "Sully" Sullivan Scholarship in memory of the avid VPP supporter. His wife Beryl, still at the helm, is also determined to keep his legacy alive through A.I.M. Due to growth through the years, we’ve moved between multiple locations until settling into our downtown office building in Thibodaux, Louisiana (1 hour southwest of New Orleans).

For quality assurance, we staff seven fully functioning departments, which include: customer service, data entry, accounting, art, print, finishing/fulfillment, and shipping. In addition, we have a warehouse with 16,000 square feet of on-site storage for rewards programs. Some of the conferences we exhibit at include: all ten VPPPA Chapters, the Annual National VPPPA, American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), and the National Safety Council (NSC).

Our VPP Journey
We initially received our VPP Star Status in 2004 and our second Star in 2008. You may agree that the challenge is to continue the momentum—that’s why VPP promotion and recertification is so vital.

Prior to VPP participation, our safety focus was sporadic at best. But since 2004 we’ve consistently kept up with our monthly safety meetings, JHAs, inspections, reporting and management audits thanks to VPP. The process has also helped us improve procedures and equipment in regards to safety.

VPP even encouraged us to implement our own points based program with our employees to encourage and reward participation. EmPart is a program we administer with our customers as well—some also being Star sites.

Since 2008 we’ve accompanied OSHA on 4 audits through the SGE program in order to give back to a program that gives so much.

VPP has been a process that has helped us through the years regarding employee involvement and safety. In addition it has greatly helped us to get an even better understanding of our clients’ needs. Continued participation in the VPP program is our determination. Frankly, we can’t see it any other way.
