HOW MAY WE BE OF SERVICE TO YOU?
One of DIB’s biggest customers is the Federal Government. We provide textile items to the Defense Supply Center in Philadelphia (DSCP). Our Custom Product department provides the US Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) with non-monetary Employee recognition gifts. We provide the US Geological Survey (USGS) with a line of customized professional clothing. We also make the blue engraved nametags for all new Air Force personnel training at Lackland Air Force Base. Numerous other government agencies order from our wide line of custom products.
DIB has important contracts and established many of its current products and services, with sales to the state agencies in Delaware. Virtually every state of Delaware agency uses our “Engraving, Employee Recognition and Promotional Products” contract. We also have the contract to provide “Rubber Stamps” to all state agencies.
In 2004, DIB focused additional efforts to expand sales and increase employment. In addition to expanding outside sales efforts, we established a Marketing unit and a New Business Development position. In 2005, DIB created our own in-house computer-training program. Building these skills within our workforce enhances the possibilities for existing and potential employees to improve their employment potential within and outside of our agency.
In the summer of 2006 DIB expanded its line of Custom products by adding our new "Custom Framing line. An agreement with the U.S. Army Medical Research Activity to provide them with custom frames gave us the initial orders that helped establish this new department. We recently have a large variety of frames available to satisfy custom orders from both the public and private sector.
In May of 2009, DIB proudly celebrated our 100th year of service to the blind community! If we have assisted you in the past, we appreciate your business, and we look forward to working with you again. If not, we would love to share with you the same valued service that we have been extending to our satisfied customers over the years. If there is anything that we can assist you with, feel free to contact us. DIB is at your service!
In March 2010 DIB established a new in house VR assesment and training program. In cooperation with DVI-VR we plan to provide training and insite that can provide and expand employment oportunities to those we serve.
