COMPANY HISTORY
Founded in 1993, Successories of Texas began as a kiosk in North Star Mall in San Antonio, Texas. In 1994, the business was relocated within the mall into a permanent in-line store. In 1995, we began a mail order business which continues today. An internet web-site was launched in 1998 under the domain name www.mo2vate.com. Successories expanded and relocated into a larger facility housing a showroom and production area in 2003. That same year, we began manufacturing awards and plaques. To assist our armed forces customers, www.4sergeants.com was launched in 2005 and a line of military awards, challenge coins and products for First Sergeants was created. Our latest expansion is the addition of a promotional products division. In October of 2008, we again expanded and relocated to a 3170 sq ft showroom/manufacturing facility located at 2130 Jackson-Keller Rd. Our armed forces Challenge Coin Design center is located within our showroom.

Tammany Williams

Tammany began Successories of Texas in 1993. A graduate of Texas A&M University, she previously had a successful career with a national computer company -- beginning as a sales representative, she was promoted to Sales Manager and then Assistant Branch Manager in Houston, Texas. Her sales team was ranked number 1 in the nation for several consecutive years -- and Tammany was named "Sales Manager of the Year" twice. She was relocated to San Antonio to start a new branch -- which, in its second year, became the most profitable branch in the nation. She was named "Branch Manager of the Year" that year. In 1992, Tammany left that position to work with Successories setting up their corporate marketing division. Due to the extensive travel requirements, she left that position and became a Successories franchisee herself in 1993. Today, she is still the full-time owner/operator. With as many as 90 Successories retail store locations at the franchises peak, Successories of Texas has been ranked in the top 5 stores in the nation every year since 1997 -- outperforming stores in such major markets as Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, Boston and Phoenix. Tammany has also owned a promotional products company, Summit Awards, since 1991. She is proud to have served as the Honorary Commander of the 37 TRSS at Lackland Air Force Base from 2005-2011. In September, 2011, Lackland AFB named Tammany as one of only six "Honorary Commander Emeritus" in the base's history. You can e-mail Tammany directly at t@mo2vate.com. Graduate - Texas A&M University. In addition to his accounting and data processing background, Bob is a Certified Data Processor, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (process improvement) and a certified Project Management Professional.
