Meet the Team
Ashley Griswold has worked at Checkmate Embroidery, with her father Dan Bordelon, since September of 1994. For over 20 years they have worked together to grow the business by making sure that their customer's experiences are smooth and that the final product is finished on time and of exceptional quality. Ashley focuses on sales, quoting and approvals, artwork, and building customer relationships. She and her husband Adam, whom she met in college, have two daughters and live in Rockwall. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling. When she is not working she enjoys cooking, reading, working out, and traveling.
Stephanie Sanders has been in the embroidery business for 20 years, and part of the Checkmate family since 2019. Whether you visit the shop or give us a call, she makes sure you get what you need with a friendly attitude. Stephanie is our go to for taking new orders, managing product purchases, and assisting customers. She loves making her coworkers laugh and being a part of making Checkmate a fun workplace. Whether she is helping business owners find the perfect product for their brand, cracking jokes, or chatting with customers, Stephanie is dedicated to doing her best to make sure everyone has a great experience and a good time. When not at work Stephanie enjoys spending time at the soccer fields cheering on her kiddos. She loves watching them play and seeing them grow as athletes.
Brittani Wolf joined the Checkmate team in 2020. She started in the warehouse boxing up and cleaning orders, moved to operating a machine, and is now our in-house artist. Brittani is responsible for creating artwork when needed, digitizing, and proofing logos for approval. She loves the creativity and attention to detail that her role demands and loves the collaborative, family-oriented atmosphere at Checkmate Embroidery. Outside of work, Brittani is actively involved in her church and cherishes spending time with her family. She also enjoys going on long walks with her dog and being outdoors.
