The plastic lids for our water softener brine tanks get broken. People put heavy stuff on them all the time. This seems trivial, but it's a tough item to replace. Scott at Command designed a bulletproof one and keeps a few on hand for us.

A while back, Command sent me a small package. It had 8 white, hockey puck sized disks, and a note. We went out to the warehouse and slipped the pucks under the legs of a couple of the pieces of equipment. The slid over the grout lines much easier. We use them all over, and had Command make a smaller, black version for our dining booths.

I had this really low budget cooler with a torn gasket. The parts guy said a new one was $185. The cooler new was only $1000. Donovan said he could substitute in a style that they stock. 60 bucks!

After their guy did his walk through and we were chatting, one of my servers set a plate down in a hurry. The steak knife bounced off the counter and fell between the counter and the pie cooler. I said, "There's probably a set or two... of twelve down there." When he came back, he silliconed a little steel "L" shape. fixed the problem, didn't even charge me.
