Our Story
Jaru Associates, Inc. was founded on April 28, 1994, by John “Jack” W. Callahan and Russell B. Yearick. The name “Jaru” comes from the “Ja” in Jack and the “Ru” in Russ — a reflection of the partnership and shared vision that built the company from the ground up.
What began humbly with one small copier and one large format OCE machine in Jack’s basement grew into a trusted name in reprographics, large format printing, and document solutions throughout the region. From the beginning, Jaru has been built on quality work, dependable service, and strong relationships with the businesses and communities we serve.
In 2024, a new chapter began when our family took over the business following Russ’s retirement. With deep respect for the legacy Jack and Russ built, we stepped in with a vision to preserve what made Jaru trusted for decades while expanding what it could become.
Since taking ownership, we have grown beyond traditional print and reprographics into brand promotion, custom apparel, embroidery, promotional products, and business marketing solutions. Today, Jaru is more than a print shop—we are a one-stop branding partner helping businesses bring their identity to life through print, signage, apparel, and promotional merchandise.
As a family-owned business, you may even see our kids in the shop from time to time, helping out and earning their way toward a Rothrock Coffee treat or a K2 Roots smoothie.
