Specialty Sportswear was started over 40 years ago in the basement of Sarah Shaw. She had a single head, non computerized embroidery machine. Over the years she trained her son, Bill, to run the equipment and work with customers. That has grown now to having 26 embroidery heads and an automatic screen printing machine in house. They employ 7 people on a regular basis and more during peak seasons.
